New captain joke
After completing medical officers training, a new captain was assigned to a small Army post in a Boston suburb. She arrived after dark and was directed to her quarters.
The next morning a non-commissioned officer escorted her to the commander's office. As they exited the barracks, she looked toward Massachussetts Bay and noticed the back of a large curved device supported by a labyrinth of steel girders.
Anxious to impress the NCO with her new knowledge of the Army's air-defence system, she pointed to the structure and said, "So that's our primary target acquisition radar?"
"No, ma'am," the sergeant replied. "That's the back of the drive-in movie screen."
