parents request joke for kids

My Dad and mum sent me a friend request on facebook, but I ignored.

Yesterday, I went to ask where mum had put my food, and she told me there will be no food for me until I accept their friend request.

My question is that they are my parents, and not friends, so why don't they send me parents request?
